    3 Minute Thesis® Registration Fall 2020

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition that challenges research degree students to present a compelling oration on their thesis/dissertation topic and its significance in just three minutes using just one static slide. For Fall 2020, students will record a video of their oration which will be submitted through Canvas. Note:
If the 3MT rules are too constraining for your vision, we encourage students to compete in the 3 Minute Challenge (3MC) in Spring 2021. While also a 3 minute video, the 3MC allows for collaboration with other graduate students and a broader range of topic selection. 3MT® must be about the student’s research (their thesis or dissertation work). While 3MC can be about anything touching the graduate student experience. The 3MC is also a great time to take advantage of the tools available at the Edmon Low Library Creative Studios, from a green screen to editing tools the Creative Studios can help you materialize your dream.
