Audition Preferences

To be considered for scholarships or waivers, auditions must be completed by February 28th, 2025. Auditions after March 1st, 2025 will be accepted but may not be considered for graduate teaching assistantships or graduate tuition awards.

For High School students participating and electing to use their piano competition as part of their audition, please visit this link for more information.

Depending on your instrument or vocal area, auditions can last between 10 minutes to 45 minutes. However, we ask that when choosing a date, please make your calendar available the entire day and choose carefully as it is difficult to reschedule your in-person audition.

For spring 2026 auditions, the following instrument/music areas have limited audition dates:

Piano auditions will only occur on Saturday, February 7 after the High School Piano Competition and Friday, February 20 from 10 AM to 2 PM.

The Coordinator of Auditions will reach out to you personally to schedule your audition and will follow up a confirmation email with your assigned date, time, and location for your audition.
